Hello there,

I am Sara Gerard, an illustrator and painter, born and raised in Belgium and based in London.

Graduated as a graphic designer at St-Lucas art school in Ghent, Belgium (2009),
I soon found myself returning to my first true love: drawing. I sharpened my pencils,
closed my laptop and opened my sketchbooks to never close them again.
Daily observations, translated into spontaneous, simple lines and fragile characters
that tell subtle stories are elements that characterise my work.

The main fields in which I work are children's books, editorial work and custom prints and paintings.
